There is about 68 years between the date she disp. and the date above. That seems like a long enough time to make a good story with a twist to it. Her whereabouts is unkown. That makes it even better. This makes it like the story about Duncan and his son. The tie in can be the Earl of Carthane. He has a daughter with no name in the book of quest for s.c. they maybe can be her descendents. I have not read all this book yet so these two people may not work. But it could make sense why Princess Rhetice disp. in 1040. Maybe to seek out her true love she could not have.

Well, I did think that Araxie's sister Richelle would be a good choice
for Dhugal, however since I have learned that she gets married in KKB and Dhugal
is still single, further study into the matter was needed. This is what I came
up with. Decendants of a healers daughter, who married a healer...also son of a
healer should mesh pretty well with Dhugal's begining healing talents.

Reason
Kelson is more than just a Haldane. Not much has been credited to
Jehanna, but that is where half of his magical heritage came from. Since
Jehanna has a brother, it is reasonable to think he would have children, who
would come to Kelson's wedding, thereby meeting Dhugal. Or she may have
fostered in Brion's court, as Dhugal did, and renew their acquaintance. She of
course would be Deryni, although may only suspect, since Jehanna denied her
heritage so vehemently.

I just think that it's a waste to put Rothana in the clerical order.
I figure, let Kelson get married and reallly fall in love, and then let Dhugal
and Rothana fall in love after some exciting adventure.
Of course, it's not realistic, but what a waste of a character to pack away in a
group of nuns. I haven't read the codex, but did she have any sisters......?
